Dear Parents and Guardians,
I am honored to welcome you to the 2024-2025 school year, and am so proud to serve as the principal of Park Lane Elementary! I am a 4th generation teacher. Professionally, I have taught 1st and 2nd grades, worked as a K-6 Interventionist and K-5 ESL teacher. Additionally, I have served as a Peer Observer, Instructional Coach, Lead Coach, Assistant Principal, and Director of Academics. The Park Lane community is truly special, and I’m honored to serve as the principal.
We are filled with excitement and anticipation for the wonderful opportunities and experiences that lie ahead for our students, families, and staff. It is my pleasure to welcome you all back for what promises to be a fantastic year of learning and growth!
Important Dates and Events:
- Meet the Teacher: August 5th from 2:30-3:30 pm
- First Day of School 1st-5th grades: August 7
- First Day of School for Kindergarten and Preschool: August 13
- Back-to-School Night: August 22 from 3:30-5:00 pm -Join us for an evening of information and community building. Meet your child’s teachers, tour the classrooms, and learn about the exciting plans for the year ahead.
School Policies and Reminders:
To ensure a smooth and productive school year, please take note of the following important policies and reminders:
- Attendance: Regular attendance is crucial for academic success. Please notify the school office in case of absences and ensure that your child arrives on time each day. Our Attendance Team will be sharing information soon.
- Communication: We believe in the importance of open and transparent communication between home and school. Please ensure that your contact information is up to date, and feel free to reach out to your child’s teacher or the school office with any questions or concerns. I will also be sending home newsletters on the 1st and 15th of every month.
